I do agree that kids should get educated about Veteran's day, but I also think kids should have no school that day to show respect to Veteran's. They have many events going around on Veteran's day that kids can go to that will teach them about that day,so I'm sure kids will still get education about Veteran's day without going to school for that day.Then again teachers can always teach about Veteran's day before it or after it, so kids get education about that day either way.

Oh Goodness, This Class

So, this class for the last semester has been quite fun! I loved all the projects that we did, though I wasn't a big fan of Typing Web, but I would do it anyways. I don't have anything that I would suggest to add to this class 'cause I think this class is being run well, so keep up the good work Mrs. DeBolt! Also, I love it when we first worked on our paint background. It was fun adding all the things that I loved on my background. I loved doing the writing prompts for Blog posts.

Sillybands. We're Bringing Them Back.

So, me and Abbie, the person who is currently sitting next to me, are going to bring back Sillybands. She came up with the idea and I am going to tag along. Also, I'm going to tell all friends that if they have Sillybands, wear them. I'm sure most people still have them stashed away somewhere, so I want to persuade people to wear them again. They used to be the cool thing that was "in" when I was in the 6th grade, so why can't they be "in" now? They are very unique rubber bands that have a shape and color to it, they still seem cool to me so I don't see why they can't be cool anymore.

Life Of Angella And The Lonesome Tree Giant

I trudge along through the desert, holding onto the long rope and I look back. the Giant looks down at me, like he is smiling and slowly walks behind me. I smile back and look forward. I think to myself I'll have to find shelter soon, I'm getting tired and quite hungry, and I'm sure the Giant is quite thirsty. But it's always tough finding a good campsite. Sure, I always found a place to camp, but the problem with having a Giant with trees growing out of his back was finding a big enough river to water them. I think to myself, sighing. I look around, hoping to find a river soon.

Troll-olololololololol

OK, so I have recently pondered why the Trolls from Homestuck are called Trolls. I mean, sure they do try to annoy the four main characters, but they don't look like trolls at all. Most Trolls are made of Earth and are sometimes mistaken as Giants. But these Trolls look like normal humans with grey skin and basically candy corn horns. Their blood is different colors and each occupy a Zodiac symbol. They are supernatural creatures that are sent from the future to warn the four main characters about.... well, I don't exactly remember from what, I'm pretty sure it's got something to do with the end of the World, but I'm not positive. Anyways, I'm getting off topic, I will figure out why they are called trolls.

Day Of Judgement

I hold onto my mother's as we sprint through the streets to return to our home. The Dragons of Arl have come on the Day of Judgement and we usually try not to get involved. The dragons stalk the streets, puffing out smoke and clattering their mechanical wings. We unlock our front door and bolt inside. We lock the door and I look out the window. Large dragons of many shapes and colors trudge through the streets. I know their going towards the Town Hall, where the judgement will begin. My mom boards up the windows and I go into the kitchen. It is my turn to cook tonight, though I really don't want to. I was always fascinated by these large creatures, and I always wanted to see the up close. But my mother doesn't want me to go near them, since she doesn't want me to get punished, I guess. I pulled out a package with leftover steak in it. I put it in a pan and get frozen carrots and some easy-make mash potatoes. My mother goes upstairs to take a bath. I guess this time of year always bothers her. But, she is gonna feel more worried. When I finish dinner, I put it on two plates, and I silently unlock the door. Then, as I close the door, I sprint down the streets toward Town Hall.

The Door Of My Choice

I stand there, pondering which of the seven door I should choose from. I once more look at the sign that stands beside me, saying, "These seven doors lead you to seven places: Narnia, Neverland, Wonderland, Hogwarts, Camelot, Middle Earth, and Westeros." I look back up at the seven doors. Some of the places I have never heard of, but others I am very familiar with because of the books and fairy tales I have read. I finally decide which of the doors I want to go through. I walk forward towards the fourth door which leads to Hogwarts. I always imagined myself as a wizard at Hogwarts, being in the Ravenclaw House. I quickly open the door, and I am soon greeted by many wizards, and I quickly realize that I am finally at a place I can call home.

I'm Going To Six Flag.

So, today for a field trip/competition, I am going to Six flags for Band. We get to leave early this morning to go their and ride the roller coasters and to participate in a competition. The judges are High School judges so instead of getting judged by ranking, we are also getting judged by ranking AND placement. So, there is more pressure on us then there is when we go to Windsor. But, we all just have to relax and just play how we usually do, and then we get to go have fun! Also, I can't wait to ride the new roller coaster that's there! I've heard that it's called the Boomerang. I'm still pondering what it does and if it launches you at high speeds like Mr. Freeze.

Twinkle Twinkle Little Troll

Okay, so I didn't really know what to right about, so I'm just gonna talk about my favorite Troll. So, here it is, my favorite Troll is *insert drum-roll* ........................................... KARKAT! He is the Troll that bears the Zodiac symbol of Gemini. His blood is grey, so I don't quite know what rank he is. He is a laid back kind of guy but he is a Troll that can really make you mad. though, he is not as devious as Gamzee, though they are good friends with each other. I have't seen him much in the Act I am currently reading, so I don't have much information about him, sorry, but I'll give you more information later on, ok? Cool! now, what am I gonna write about from here on out??? .............. Hmmm, I don't really know, but I'll tell you that I will finish Homestuck soon, so you'll get to hear more about the trolls! Moi moi!!

A Change In Time

If their was a choice to either receive a pause button or a reverse button, then I would like to receive a reverse button. I would use this button to go back in time, to the times when I had the most fun. when my parents were together, when I could see my Dad, to the day my sister got married. I would like to relive those moments. Though, I know there is one thing I wouldn't like to go back to. All the fighting my parents made, the injuries, the bullying, and the moments where I got hurt the most. Also . . . . I don't  want to go back to my old school in Pevely. I love this school and I made LOTS of friends, and I don't want to lose them, ever. I am proud to be a Tiger, and I don't want to change that. So, if I do ever receive a rewind button, I hope it also comes with a fast-forward button.

Imscared - Indie Horror Game

So, just last weekend, I have downloaded onto y computer a Horror game called Imscared. In the game, you are a person, trapped in a room. There is a door that says "Exit", but you are required to have a Beating Heart. So, you pick up the small key underneath the desk. Then, you walk around the room and-wait a second, was that hallway there before? Anyways, you go down the hallway and go down a ladder. Then, you end up in another hallway. There are many doors, though most of them are locked until you open one of them and it is a red hallway... literally, the floor, walls, and ceiling are red. You go all the way down the hallway and pick up the Beating Heart. As soon as you pick it up, you hear a boy laughing. You turn around, and suddenly a wHITE FACE IS STARING AT YOU!!!!!! The game crashes and a new document appears in your downloads as well with a picture. The document explains that while the computer is turned off, a small byte from the computer roams through it. It's name is White Face. You go back to the game and it asks, "Do you know my name?" You type White Face into the box and you end up facing a wall. Written on it, with blood, says, "LET'S PLAY TAG". Also, you remember that in the document it says that the arrows are the key. So, then you have to run through a large room, following the arrows and collecting them. You will hear a sound with laughter coming towards you, and that is White Face so make sure you don't get caught by him. When you have collected all of the keys, you will hear a unlocking sound and White Face will go away. Follow the arrows until you find a arrow of blood pointing towards the door, which is the door you have just unlocked. Go through it. You then find yourself running down a road and White Face zooms by you and then you reach a gate. As soon as you get there, you hear laughter and words appear down below saying, "I love watching you."

I Deserve A Day Off!!!

I deserve a day off, because I do a lot of things everyday that keeps me busy. I have to feed my stepsister's dog almost everyday, wash the dishes, dust the house, vacuum the house, and help my step-dad do things since he had shoulder surgery last week. I would like a little "vacation time" to let me do the stuff I want to do. I'm not saying that I want like multiple days off, just one so I can draw, read, watch TV/movies, etc. I like helping out my parents around the house, but sometimes it gets annoying and I become impatient while working and as a result I feel hot and fidgety. So, enough talking about my anxiety disorder towards work. Though I know they day off would only be one day, I know I could do TONS of things that I have been meaning to do for the past couple of days. It would be loads of fun for me, so I wish there would be an annual Student's Day Off day, so students get to stay home and talk to friends and other things. I would be totally Homestuck'd.

So, I am officially Homestuck'd. To be Homestuck'd, you have to become obsessed with Homestuck, a certain story/game you read. It is about four friends; John Egburt, Dave Strider, Rose Lalonde, and Jade Harley. The entire theme about this story is that the world is going to end and meteors keep falling down and crashing down o Earth. Then, in anothr dimension, they meet trolls. The trolls are most likely black haired humans with grey skin and horns almost like candy corn. The horns are in different shapes and sizes and each troll is a zodiac, like the Scorpio one is Vrisua. She isn't the nicest of them all and not many people like her. Karkat, Gemini troll, is probably the coolest one of them all.

The Best Book I Have Ever Read...

The best book I have ever read was Warriors:Into The Wild. It was the first book of the series and a very exciting one since it was the start of an adventure. It was a story of a young Kittypet, or a cat owned by humans, called Rusty. One day, his curiosity about the forest got the best of him and it drove him out of his Twoloeg nest, or home. He was hunting a mouse when a cat in the shadows pounced on him. They fought well, Rusty winning against the two. The cat introduced himself as Graypaw, an apprentice of ThunderClan. He then told the Kittypet about Clan-life and how there are four Clans; ThunderClan, RiverClan, WindClan, and ShadowClan. Soon, after the story, the leader and deputy of ThunderClan, Bluestar and Lionclaw, found the two. After questioning Graypaw why he was out here and why Rusty was in their territory, Bluestar gave a very live changing question to Rusty. She asked if he would like to become part of ThunderClan! He said that he had to think it over, so the next morning he decided that he would join. He went back into the forest and found Lionclaw once again, but he smelled a new cat. It was Whitestorm, a warrior at ThunderClan. They led Rusty back to ThunderClan camp and showed him around.

Shockwave's Final Form?

So, I have told about my pony, Shockwave, right? well, I have modified her to her FINAL FOOOORM!!!! *[insert evolution music]* Though, this evolution is a bad thing. She has gotten a brain tumor and is as derpy as Derpy Hooves. She was then tested on my a Scientist by the name of Dr. Franken Stein. She only has two wings, and one of them is smaller than another like Nemo and his one small fin. Because of this, she can no longer be the messenger for the princesses. Seems pretty bad, huh? Well, not entirely. She is now going to be working at a Post Office as a Messenger. She works with Derpy Hooves and they become best friends. Also, she meets Time Turner, aka. Doctor Who (as a pony), and they become great friends too. Since all Shockwave had was a brain tumor, occasionally she returns to normal and remembers stuff just fine, but that is temorary so she returns to her Derpy self again.

Tracks Of Life

I walk along these train tracks, still trying to figure out why I am. It seems that these tracks go on forever, since it seems I have been walking for hours and I feel something slippery under my feet and smell the rusty odor of blood. Every once in a while, I'll look down and admired my pure white dress that I have on, with ruffles at the bottom of it. A pair white of high-heel shoes(though short high-heel shoes) dangle in my hand as I continue to balance my way along the tracks. As the wind blows, cherry blossom petals drift in the wind, dancing in the air. Then, I heard a distant train, though it seemed to be about a mile away. I stopped dead in my tracks, wondering what I should do. Should I jump of the tracks? I asked myself, as I heard the train coming closer, or should I just stay on, since I am walking on these train tracks for nothing. I gave a big smile and open my arms to my sides and closed my eyes. Soon, I heard the train right in front of me, I felt my breath getting swept away with the wind and cherry blossom petals.

My Little Pony: Kingdom Hearts

Lately, I have been obsessed with Kingdom Hearts so I made a My Little Pony character. Her name is Shockwave and she is a grey pegasus with 4 large wings. She has yellow hair that is in the shape of fire with two strands of hair that go over her eyes that are in the shape of a lightning bolt. Her tail is also in the shape of a lightning bolt. Her cutie mark is one large lightning bolt with wings and two small lightning bolts with wings. She is a messenger for the Princesses and is faster in flying than Rainbow Dash(an original character from the show). She has a color with a black heart symbol on it that allows her to manipulate the air around her in a Key Blade(a large key with a blade of the sharpest of swords). She is also like a bodyguard for the Princesses. She is mainly really nice but she can get snappy and rude at times. She loves hanging around friends and always enjoys flying in the sky.

My Heavenly Quest

The pain in my stomach is fading as a bright light appeared. Am I dead? Am I in Heaven now? I thought, just as I opened up my eyes and I looked around. I seemed to be standing on a large mass of cloud and in front of me stood a giant golden gate. There, stood a boy, about my age, with a halo over his head and angel wings tucked tightly against his back. I walked toward him and slowly released who he was. Tyler... Tyler Adams, my older stepbrother who was shot and killed 4 years ago. He was really nice to me, did some of the things I wanted to do and I did the same in return. We never fought or got angry at each other, he was like a real-life brother to me. "Welcome to the Gates of Heaven, Taylor," he said with a bright smile on his face and he seem to eyeing my stomach. This Quarter...?

This Quarter, I have progressed in my ability to type with my hands on the home-row keys and space bar. Also, I learned how to use Microsoft Word, Publisher, and Excel more efficiently. We did some fun projects that also let me learn more about the things I like, such as about the country Japan. I created   a piece of art on the computer that I probably wouldn't be able to make before this class. I am able to type faster than usual and I know where the keys are on the keyboard. I don't have to keep glancing down at the keyboard anymore. I made stories on Blog posts that I am very pleased with and would love to read them over and over. I am glad that I get to take this class for a semester, because I have a lot of fun in this class and I love it. I feel like I can type anything on here, like this computer is a close friend that will listen to what I say and will remember it forever.

As you already know, Pokemon X and Y are coming out in October. So, I just want to talk about who my favorite starter is of the new 6th Generation. Of course, like every other Pokemon game, there are three starters. A Fire-Type, a Grass-Type, and a Water-Type Pokemon starter. the starters of the new generation is Fennikin, Chespin, and Froakie. My favorite out of those three is Chespin, the Grass-type Pokemon. He may look really cute at his first evolution, but when he evolves you'll think differently. From what I've seen, he is a very friendly Pokemon that can be naive yet brave at the same time. Though, he is a little scared of Fennikin, the Fire-type starter.

One night, I was watching TV in my living room. This was many years ago, for I was living in Pevely at the time. But this one night changed my life. I was starting to get hungry so I ran upstairs and ask my mom for an orange. As I walked out of the kitchen, I heard a loud crash coming from down the stairs. I stood at the top of the stair case and saw that the glass in our front door was broken and all of the ground. I ran as fast as I can to find the person or thing that broke it but half way down the stairs I tripped. My chin was the first thing that made contact with the tile on the ground. Blood splattered everywhere and I heard an evil cackle behind me. I turned around to see a small demon dragon glaring at me with hungry eyes. I screamed as it raised its claws . . . .

One night, after going out with my parents to eat, I went back to my house and saw that the door was half way open. I ran up to the open door and looked inside and realized that she had been robbed. She checked her entire house and everything was gone but when she got to the phone, she realized that there was a snow-globe in the middle of the living room. I walked over to it and picked it up. It was my vintage snow-globe that I got at the Wax Museum in Branson. Then, I realized that this could be a clue, a hint to where the person who robbed her was or was going to be. Then, I instantly called 9-11 and told them about the robbery and about the snow-globe and how it could be a clue to where the robber was. They said that they were gonna send some officers over to my house to inspect it, and some to the Wax Museum. I sighed with relief when I got off the phone, knowing that the Police would be able to get my stuff back.

Cupid's Wrong Shot

Cupid was on duty in Downtown New York on Valentine's Day. He found his first target and put the haircross onto the male and fired. He lowered the crossbow and watched for the love to start working. But instead, an elderly man started falling in love with the young women. That's weird, thought Cupid. I've never hit the wrong person like that before. He thought for a while, thinking about any remedies that could fix it, but he just shrugged when he remembered that his Love Arrows only work for 24 hours. He checked his transmitter as he received a new target. He turned 270 degrees and raised the crossbow up to his eye once more.

Pokemon X and Y

A new generation of Pokemon is coming in October! I don't know what the Region is called, but I know it will be the first 3D Pokemon game. The starters are Fennikin, the fire-type fox Pokemon, Chespin, the grass-type hedgehog Pokemon, and Froakie, the water-type frog Pokemon. The legendary Pokemon for Pokemon X version is Xerneas, a blue and black deer with light brown antlers that have multi-colored crystals on them. The legendary Pokemon for Pokemon Y version is Yveltal, a red reptilian bird with claws on the end of both wings and the tail with black horns and black fur on the chest. i can't wait for it to come out so I can play it!

Animecon

This Saturday, a group of friend and I are going to Animecon! If you don't know what Animecon is, I shall explain. Animecon is where people dress up as their favorite anime characters and go to a huge event where Anime animaters and other Otakus(people who love anime)go and buy stuff and meet other Otakus. I will be going with my friends Caitlyn, Rebecca, Abbi, Samantha, Tess, and myself. I will be dressing up as trunks, my favorite character from Dragon Ball. My friends Samantha will be drssing up as Savana her Anime OC(original character), Caitlyn will be drssing up as Rin from the Vocaloids, Rebbeca will dress up as Len from the Vocaloids, Tess will dress up as Gohan from Dragon Ball, and Abbi will be dressing up as Gir from Invader Zim. I can't wait to go, since I've never been to one before. I will probably buy a lot of stuff with all my money, but I don't care because I can always save up my money again! Afterwards, I will probably spend the night at Samantha's house. I just hope that my mom will let me go to Animecon and spend the night.....I just hope so....

When I look at the measuring tape, I think about the endless things you can create and make. Art and creativity is essential to this world, letting or imagination run free and making this world more of an interesting place. When  I look at that measuring tape, I think of a construction cite to create homes for the homeless and places to buy food and water at a reasonable price. Though many places don't have cheap water and food supplies or workers making a home, it would greatly change our world. We would all live in peace in harmony because of one small tool. But, alas, it shall not happen because of how high taxes are and gas prices. Also, a large problem with our economy right now that is preventing us to have the time and money to build these things, is ObamaCare.

Cat, I'm A Kitty Cat!!

Have you ever once thought I wonder what it would be like to have magic . . . and I wonder which kind I would like to have! I have just recently had this thought while reading a book called Claws. I would like cat magic, to be able to turn from a normal house cat, to a jungle cat, and even a human! When human, I would be able to see, hear, and smell like a cat and I would be able to take out my cat claws when I'm angry. I thought more about the subject and I decided I would be a long-limbed sleek black cat and would have brown hair, like how it is now, when human. It would be so much fun, yet dangerous to be a crag. A crag is any magical creature from satyrs to troll . . . and to cats. If magic really did exist, then there would be a variety of crag schools and normal schools.

Memories . . . .

A memory I would bottle up, would be when my Dad was still with my Mom. I would constantly uncap the bottle when I miss him, so I would open it up almost everyday. My memory would be of one night, at 10101 Blueberry Lane in Pevely, Missouri when my Dad came home late one night. I was asleep but I heard the door open and close. I snuck out of my room, and my Dad saw me coming down the stairs to the living room. He just smiled and asked me,"Are you hungry?" I nodded, not wanting my Mom know that I was awake. He gave me a couple pieces of chicken and I sat on his lap, eating. Although, my Mom came down the stairs shortly from hearing the door. She instantly got angry when she saw me eating. She asked my Dad, angrily'"Why did you feed her?!She already brushed her teeth!!"

I think that  learning more about Martin Luther King Jr. is better than learning more about our veterans that served in the war. We've already learned so much about the wars, yet we barely even talk about the history about slavery and boycotting and marching down streets, wanting freedom to their kin. It is important to learn about ALL American history, instead of just hinting about the slavery and focusing on what our Founding Fathers and great American leaders were doing at the time. Slavery was a problem back then, and that's why Abraham Lincoln spoke a speech to end it. Today, most people don't judge other people by their skin color, 'cause that time has passed, but we should dig deeper into the subject, and find hidden truths behind what we already know.

The hunt for cheese is on when I play my favorite computer game called Transfromice. The main idea for this game is to go and get the cheese and bring it to the Mouse Hole. In this game, your a mouse but you can buy items to customize this mouse(only if you have an account which is free)There are many obstacles in the maps, so that's where the Shaman comes in. The Shaman can build things with boards, boxes, and anvils so the mice can get to the cheese. The more you play, the more titles you can get. There are A LOT of titles to earn. When you first start out, underneath your username is the title you have which would be the starter title "Little Mouse". Also, you can create a Tribe to invite friends into and you can watch videos and play just the Original or even Bootcamp!

Dear Mrs. DeBolt:

I love playing horror games on my computer and other systems. My stepsister hates when I do play them when she is around, 'cause it scares her a lot and she screams loudly. I like to play the most popular horror game called Slender. It is a game where you are a little girl trapped in the forest encircled my a circular fence and all you have is a flashlight. You have to find 8 pages with warnings on them before Slender Man gets you. Slender Man is a very tall and long-limbed person with a white face with no eyes, mouth, or nose and he wears a suit with a tie and has black tentacles that come out of his back.

I also enjoy drawing quite a bit in my free time. I am not good at drawing people but I can draw many animals well. I am best at drawing dragons, but I like to draw the cartoon version and not the real life-like version with the smallest detail of scales. I draw frequently and use my time and thoughts wisely. I go through a lot of paper and erasers as I get new ideas for a drawing.

I have a lot of computer experience, since I get on it almost everyday and I have been on it since I was little. When I was young, I would go on a website called Starfall to help me learn new words and how to read. Now, I play computer games and chat with my friends and I occasionally draw on Paint. I like making up stories on Microsoft Word, too. I do it mainly on animals and sometimes just people. I love playing and typing on the computer, so I think this is going to be an awesome class.

I received a letter today. It was from a class mate, but he says that he got in a lot of trouble. The letter says,"Hey,I got in some trouble and I am in jail, and I know I've caused you a lot of grief,but there's something I need that only you can do for me.Don't tell anyone about this." I stopped and thought what if someone finds out I help and I get into jail!Well, I guess it doesn't matter.I red on as it said,"There is a $1,500 fine on me, and if you could pay that and bail me out, you'd be doing me a great favor!"

Pikachu!!!!~

My favorite Pokemon, probably of all time, is Pikachu. Many may not know about Pokemon,so I'll describe it. It is a virtual world of trainers who go out and catch Wild animals called Pokemon.There are more than 600 Pokemon in all 5 generations, though they are making a new Generation called Pokemon X and Pokemon Y. I have almost all the games and on each one, I get a Pikachu! I love playing these games in my free time, and many others may like it too. Sometimes, I can be a little obsessive over playing these games, like I may try talking and even yelling at my game and it usually gets me in trouble with my Mom. Me and my friends always keep up to date when knew Pokemon games come out and when and on what channel a new Pokemon movie comes on TV.
